Therapy for New Moms in Denver & Across Colorado
Navigating the beautiful, messy, disorienting, and challenging shift that is Motherhood.
I work with new moms in Denver and Colorado who are trying to find themselves again. After you become a mom, the person you were before is harder to find, and we miss her.
Together, we will foster deeper self-awareness and connection so that you can gain the clarity, self-compassion, and agency needed to build a balanced and aligned sense of self and life.
MY APPROACH
How I Work
Together, we figure out what's actually going on underneath all of the exhaustion. Not just the anxiety or the guilt, but honoring the part of you that's grieving, recognizing the part that's scared, and better understanding the part that hasn't stopped performing since the baby arrived.
That usually looks like three things: getting honest about what's actually happening underneath the surface, finding some compassion for what we find there, and then figuring out how you actually want to feel now. Then we build that. Not going back to who you were but deciding who you're becoming.

A Few Things People Usually Want to Know
Is it normal to feel anxious all the time after having a baby?
It's incredibly common, and sometimes expected. But common and “normal” doesn’t mean you have to white-knuckle through it. There's a difference between the adjustment period and anxiety that's running your days and precious nights, and that's worth talking through with someone.
When should I see a therapist after having a baby?
Whenever it stops feeling manageable to you. there's no waiting period or checklist. If you're dreading wondering "is this normal," that's usually a decent sign it's worth a conversation.
Do you accept insurance?
I don't accept insurance directly, but I work with Mentaya, which helps you get reimbursed through out-of-network benefits, and I can provide superbills if you want to submit on your own.
Can we do this virtually if getting childcare for an appointment isn't realistic right now?
Yes. I offer virtual sessions across Colorado.
Can I bring my new baby to sessions in-person?
Yes. Babies under 12 months are welcome to join you in session.
